Review of LeBlanc, Cancun MX.

So, not to long ago (July). Me and my best friend Amy wanted to get out of town for a couple of days to just relax and sit at a swim up pool bar and get some massages. A quick girls getaway. We choose LeBlanc in Cancun as I have been there before and fell in love . I have been to Cancun more times than I can count and have been avoiding it lately due to all the issues they have had with the beaches and erosion. Since they cleared that up by shipping millions of dollars worth of sand in , it is back to it's former glory.

Why Mexico you ask? Aren't you scared? Short answer - no, and I try to instill in my clients to book the HOTEL not, the destination. I do this mostly because most people want clear water and white sand. You can get that anywhere in Caribbean. Why not go to Mexico where the airfare is under $300 and you get way more bang for your buck. As two females who travel a lot together I have never once feared for my safety in Cancun or the surrounding areas. The people are fabulous and the service is hard to beat.

Now, on to the review -
                                                     Entrance to resort

Arrival was easy, I have been down this road a million times so I know the procedure. Do not stop, do not collect $200. Straight out the door to find the transfer company. Took the usual 10 - 15 minutes to get moving and then we were on our way. LeBlanc is about 15 minutes from the Cancun airport located on the strip. Upon arrival you are greated with cold towels and champagne. Fabulous way to start out vacation.

Check in was a breeze. Had a nice lunch at Blancitnl, and a couple of drinks at the lobby bar. Service was fantastic at both. Now, on to the pool. The resort it's self is very minimalist which I am not a huge fan of but, here some how it all works. Having been all over the Caribbean and to many all inclusive resorts I knew that the main pool would be filled with "crazy games and loud music" (more on crazy games at a later time) but, not here. A light spa music played in the background that you were barely able to hear. Perfect, this is were I could spend the rest of my four days in complete relaxation.

Service at the pool and swim up bar was wonderful.  We were told they were at 75% capacity. HOW? I have no idea there was tons of chairs at the pool which if you have ever been to an all inclusive you know that is a rarity. There was also tons on the beach from what I could see. As soon as we sat down we were approached by a pool server. She brought us a bucket of waters, an umbrella and two beach towels. We thanked her and she responded "it's my pleasure". This was a phrase we must have heard 100 times during our trip. Everything was their pleasure. The pool it's self was amazing. A massive infinity pool over looking the clear blue waters of the Caribbean. I knew this was going to be a fabulous trip from the first 2 hours of being there.

This resort continued to surprise us. The room was we appointed, with free wifi and free international calls. The jacuzzi tub was also a nice touch. The spa was unbelievable. His and hers full spa circuits that are included in the all inclusive price. You normally pay $40 -$60 per person to use the spa facilities at most resorts unless you are getting a treatment. The gym offered a wide varity of exercise classes such as yoga and pilates. Which we took full advantage of. The beach was fabulous with full beach butler service, and we always got two chairs and an umbrella no problem.

If I had to say one negative thing about LeBlanc I would have to say the food at Blancitnl was good. Not bad, not ok, not amazing just good. This in it's self at any other all inclusive would be a plus. Here since everything else is so top notch I would have like to have been blown away but, the food on the buffet for lunch was good. The other restaurants were wonderful. My favorite being Lumiere the French fusion. We ate there twice as we were blown away the first time. Of all the meals we had I can't say any were bad. That is a first I have to say of all my resort adventures.

All and all, I have to say this at the present time has been the best all inclusive resort I have stayed at to date. I would say A- only because I wanted to be blow away by the International buffet Blancitnl. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to getaway and escape the real world and to be 100% pampered. If you want good food, great service and fabulous beach I would say run do not walk to LeBlanc.

Bonus - From now till the end of 2012 LeBlanc and all Palace Resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean are offering a huge resort credit for stay 3 nights and up. Here is the link to check it out -
